Android Ice Cream Sandwich

Google is now preparing a new generation operating system Android, Ice Cream Sandwich.
Platform aimed at mobile phone device is already equipped with features Near Field Communication (NFC) payments system known as the future.

NFC is a short-range wireless communications technology that enables data exchange between devices. NFC features can also be used to conduct financial transactions, such as buying tickets or pay for groceries with how close the phone to a data reader device (reader) without the need to enter a particular password or PIN number. In short, it works like Flazz card.
However, to adopt this technology required a separate chip that does not fuse with the cell phone processor. Thus, in one Smartphone, there are two chips, one for the performance of the phone and another one specifically for the NFC.

Citing reports tech site PC World, there are fundamental differences between the NFC features that applied to the previous operating system, namely Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) with Android Ice Cream Sandwich. In essence, the functionality of the NFC in Ice Cream Sandwich Android platform will be more integrated with the phone because the added services "O-click interaction."
In services "O-click interaction", users not only can use NFC to perform financial transactions, but also exchanged a number of contacts, share web pages, YouTube videos, and various other types of multimedia content.
Google also has given space to the developers to create applications that can run with the NFC. Currently, available an application with the name Sticky Note experiment. With the application notes that, every mobile phone users who have the service write a note in the NFC live Sticky Notes application and the message written will get to the other NFC phones simply by bringing closer the two mobile phone.
